About the design

"'Protect our Pangolins' celebrates pangolins, the original socially awkward hero.  Wearing their scaly suits of armour, pangolins really are the ultimate eco guardian thanks to their diet of ants and termites which help regulate potentially destructive insect populations. Despite this, these wonderful creatures are one of the most globally trafficked wild mammals; hunted for their meat and scales which are sold illegally. Together we must protect our pangolins, our scaly heroes!"

About the charity

Profits from our shop support IAPWA - International Aid for the Protection and Welfare of Animals. We’re a UK-registered animal welfare charity providing a critical lifeline for animals around the world. Through our projects and partnerships we deliver treatment, support and long-term change for animals who need us.

This product collection helps fund our work protecting pangolins. Did you know that the illegal wildlife trade results in the brutal death of tens of thousands of these innocent animals every year? Ruthless poachers extract them from their natural habitat and sell them on the black market to be used for food, medicine and even fashion.

In the Philippines alone, the pangolin population has experienced a devastating decline due to relentless trafficking, pushing them dangerously close to extinction. It is a horrific and barbaric trade, and their plight cannot be ignored any longer. We’re raising money and collecting signatures to help us save the species, putting pressure on local government and law enforcement to take this issue seriously before it’s too late.

About your purchase

As a small charity we custom-make all of our products to order and ship them from our supplier in the UK. This allows us to operate sustainably and efficiently, directing as many funds as possible to the animals who need us. Please carefully consider your purchase before ordering, and ensure you read our shipping information and returns policy. Please also be aware that the images used are mock-ups, so may not look identical to the finished product. Thank you so much for your support.
