About Chris Proctor

I am a contemporary painter, living and working in NSW, Australia. Originally from England, I have called Australia home for the last six years.

Inspired by The Mission School art movement, folk art, as well as the punk and skate scenes that I grew up in, my work has an ‘ugly is beautiful’ approach. Using ‘ugly’ materials such as found wood, cardboard, reused canvas and paper, alongside old paintbrushes and mistinted house paints, I try and create artworks that are both beautiful and meaningful.

About the charity

80% of profits from our Art for Animals collection go straight to the charity IAPWA - International Aid for the Protection and Welfare of Animals.

IAPWA is a UK-registered animal welfare charity providing a critical lifeline for animals around the world. Through our projects and partnerships we deliver treatment, support and long-term change for animals who need us.

Your purchase could give the gift of life to a sick street dog in Malaysia, save an endangered Philippine pangolin from poachers, feed a starving donkey in Tanzania, and more.
