Her late greyhound, Greer, was a source of infinite artistic inspiration, and greyhounds and other dogs have been a huge focus for Kaila for the entirety of her illustration career.

About the artist

Kaila Elders is a Seattle-based printmaker, painter, and digital artist from Ontario, Canada. Her work, inspired by her homeland and the Pacific Northwest, focuses on depicting wildlife as well as sighthounds, particularly her late greyhound. Every August, she draws a different dog breed daily. She is available for freelance commercial projects.
